From 17th May, SingSing is going to release new feature called: Locked Staking which, provides interest rewards in exchange for committing assets for a fixed period with predetermined maturity dates.
Mechanism explaination
Users cannot withdraw their entire balance at any time before the maturity date. Staking registration and withdrawal can be performed daily from 00:10 to 23:50 (UTC+0). After successful registration, the user’s assets will be transferred from their spending wallet to the selected staking package. Once registered, users can monitor their staking packages.
Note: A minimum of 1,000 SING is required to participate, and the first staking package available is a 90-day package with a 15% annual interest rate.
How’s the process work
After registration, the user’s assets will begin accumulating rewards at 00:00 (UTC+0) on the following day. After accumulating rewards throughout the first day, the user’s first distribution will go to their Spending wallet on the next day. Users will not receive rewards on the registration day. Rewards are calculated and distributed to the user’s Spending wallet daily from 00:00 to 08:00 (UTC+0).
For example
If a user stakes 10,000 SING, the daily reward distribution would be 10,000 * 0.15/365 = 4.1 SING.
